You Vs. Your SO: Who Knew First?
Who said "I love you" or even "I like you" first - he/she or you?
(in our case, he said it first! I thought it, but I was too scared to say it. )

He said "I love you" first. I said "I like you" first.
I said "I love you" first. He said "I am IN love with you" first.
M
he was the first to fall in love. & also the first to fall out of love.
first to say "i love you". & first to break up.
I admitted to liking him first, and he admitted it very soon afterwards (like the next day) and he said "I love you" first. :)
@laurenmaureen@xanga - Yup, same here. It all happened so naturally--no awkwardness.
He said 'i love you' first, when he was drunk. I was drunk too and was like, what?! The next day we talked about it, and he still said it, and meant it. About a week later I said it back, after holding it in for so long and sorting things out in my brain.
He professed love first, but I think we both fell in love at the same time.
Honestly, I don't know who said I like you first.
I do know that he's been the first in everything else.
He said it first. (:
I think we both fell for each other at the same time, but I told him that I liked him first. We don't say "I love you," and our first kiss was mutual. Haha.
He was the first to say "I am in love with you." & also the first to fall out of love. Maybe the circumstances.. or it was meant like that.
him- tho we are both shy.
He said he liked me first
I said I think i'm falling first
he said the L first lol
He said it first, though I'd known for a little bit by then. Of course, I got all "let's over-think everything" about it, and didn't say it back to him for a couple of weeks. I didn't want him to think I was saying it just because he was. When I told him all of that, he laughed at me for being so silly.
I was the first to admit that I liked him.
We haven't gotten to love yet...
Me with "I like you." I liked him before he did me, too. I had the biggest crush on him when I was 13, beginning of my freshman year in high school. I have loved him ever since and I'm turning 18 in a few weeks. We were best friends for the first half of 9th grade.
The first time I told him I had feelings for him, he said that he "didn't like anyone in particular." I found out over a year later that he actually did like me back, but decided that girls were too much of a hassle and didn't want to deal with having a girlfriend at age 15.
Some things happened. We stopped talking for something like seven months.
Then we sort of started over, except the process was sped up. After being sort of best friends with him again for three weeks,
The second time, a year after the first time I confessed, I confessed again that I never stopped liking him. He told me that he had feelings for me too. *melt* The memories are so cute!!!
For the next two weeks (plus two months once we started dating) I was on cloud nine.
Anyways, something like two months into our relationship, he was the first to say, "I love you." And I told him, "No, it's too early to throw around a phrase like that." I was right. I was only 14!
I'm pretty sure he said "I love you" first though. We took our relationship very slowly, mostly due to me taking my time to be ready for the next step every time. I mean I'd hit puberty only two years before. I didn't start feeling sexual pleasure (like I never felt horniness) until I was 16 after we'd already made love a few times.
That's when you know it's love. I like didn't have crazy sex hormones until I hit 17 (yeah, slow to develop.) I lost my virginity to him solely because I was so committed to him (we were already considering marriage at that point--hey, don't judge, you don't know details) and I loved him so much that I felt an extreme amount of pleasure just because I knew that he was experiencing an extreme amount of pleasure. It's the pleasure you get from kissing someone romantically, not making out. I don't know how to describe it...
WOW, rant. xD
she'll swear it was her first, but I'm the one who totally obsessed over her for years before we finally got serious. we got into a huge argument and she swears she knew I was perfect, right then and there. RIGHT! lol
@asdfghjkieu@xanga - That's so sad
He told me that he loved me first, I was too wimpy. :P
She did. But she also jumped ship first.
Ohhh wellll.
He did first.
I said "I like you" first.
He said, "I'm falling in love with you" first
AND he was the one to say "I love you" first.
:)
Same with me! I thought it before he said it, but I was too scared to say it to him.
I was the one to say "I think I'm falling for you." initially, and then he seconded it...and then a few weeks later he said "I love you." I'm a firm believer that the guy should always say the ILY phrase first :)
He said I love you in Korean to me...I had no clue what he was saying. I thought it was saying "delicious" in Japanese to me.
