What Happens If You Break Girl Code?
Someone found Datingish by Googling "what happens if you break girl code"? And while I thought it was kind of funny, it got me thinking that I had no idea what the result would be. Would you be shunned? Have your hair pulled? Girlfight? (all the Datingish guys are going "yes, please" . . . I can tell)
I think, if anything, you'd lose some close friends and have some nasty rumors spread about you. What do you think?

Hahah, what the hell is girl code? Like, dating a guy your friend just broke up with or something? I'm not sure.
If that's the case, I guess people get mad at each other and maybe even lose friendships. It happens.
If you break the girl code, be prepared to be treated poorly by your friends and the friends of your friends. Women are vengeful. Be afraid.
It depends on how long you've known the girl, the seriousness of the offense, etc. If I don't know the girl too well, I'm likely to make out with her boyfriend when I know she'll walk in. If we're closer, usually the silent treatment followed by some super bitchy remarks are all that's required.
I broke the girl code apparently this year...and I lost maybe one friend. Most of my friends realized it was stupid, and wanted me to be happy, so I kept most of them. The only things that changed were with the two girls that felt hurt - and there have been other issues, besides this guy, that led us to break apart earlier anyway. And some rumors, but you get over it. You learn who's a real friend, and you learn from what happened.. Some people just need to stop being so immature and look at the bigger picture rather than them breaking the "code." Sometimes it's okay to throw out the rule book.
If you break girl code, you are sent back to the home planet, are reprogrammed and returned with no recollection of the incident. Just ask Dick Clark.
i did once. i lost most of my close friends and the lies about be were vicious. however i got my closest friend back, and i met better people. while it sucks.....life goes on.
I think the world blows up, but I could be wrong.
My best friend broke girl code. I didn't speak to her at ALL for weeks, I still barely do (and if I do, we absolutely avoid the topic of WHO brought her to break this code). It's awkward and uncomfortable and it makes you sad at times. But shit happens.
DIE.
In grade 7 a girl was shunned and they made sure she didn't get another date. She transfered schools.
But the girls were young, now they're in highschool and they've matured. Some what.
what the hell is girl code, that's what i'd like to know
If breaking "girl code" means being a backstabbing jerk, then I suppose karma is a good way to describe future doom. And, yeah, probably the silent treatment, a period of shunning, etc... Let's just call it breaking "morality code" from now on =].
I had to google "girl code".
But from what I've seen girls just remain superficial friends and turn vicious when the offending female isn't present.
Lol, you'll die.
Most likely, you're get the silent/cold treatment, loes a few friends, and have people talk about you behind your back/rumors spreading.
Girls can take the "code" and shove it.
Loss of reputation and shunning are the most probable results of breaking Girl Code.
I don't know what girl code is. But from what everyone has said about it, I think I might want to know what it is so I can avoid going against it. Ha.
Never heard of the "girl code" and I actually Google it. Yeah, I know. Smart idea, ain't it?
If you break it, be ready for hell to get loose.
Females are vengeful and mean. It can get very ugly.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=girl%20code%20 haha there's a lonngg definition.
I don't think it's right to date a boy after he just broke up with your friend/broke up with a friend to date you. It will hurt your friend, and eventually cause many people to turn on you. Talk to your friend first and make sure she's comfortable with it. Or just date him if you want to get rid of her friendship.
I don't know what girl code is, since all my female friends are mature adults. But I remember that girls aren't like guys when it comes to their friends being jerks. Dudes settle the shit outright and move on. (Most) Girls are catty bitches: they plot, they talk shit, they backstab, and then they hold a grudge that can last the course of eternity.
What's girl code?
OMG, after reading that Urban Dictionary link above, I am so glad I don't have friends like that.
Most of my friends are male, and that helps to avoid at least 99% of drama. Â Ugh.
Girls suck.
when my "bestfriend" broke the girl code,
i beat the crap outta her.
we are friends again now.
but we will never again be as close as we used to be.
@black_lie@xanga - don't worry, you're not alone..
