You Vs. Your SO: What Do You Do In Your Downtime?
Okay, so I'm an addict and like to be on the computer alllllllllll the time. When I have downtime and am just hanging out at home, I'm usually surfing and sort of watching TV at the same time (I'm a multitasker!). He's more into reading and baking/cooking - much more productive than playing Golf Solitaire for hours like I do :)
What do you do when you have time off? What does he/she do?

Lately, I've been stumbling through the internet, and he's been playing video games. We sit right next to each other in the same room, but at time it feels like we're so far apart. I've been trying to get him to do stuff with me, as a couple, but I haven't gotten my wish yet. It kind of sucks. Such as, tonight, he promised me we'd watch a movie together after weeks of me begging for it, and I get out of the shower all pumped up for it, and he's laying there sleeping :(
I read blogs on Xanga, and he plays video games. l0l. We're really lazy... it's kind of sad.
he plays video games and I do crossword puzzles or play with the kids.
he plays video games and watches lots of movies and documentaries, I'm either with him watching the said moves and documentaries, reading, or surfing the interwebs >.<

Watch youtube videos together, cuddle, play videogames. Basically all we ever do is have downtime :P
I try to read as much as I can before I'm dragged onto the computer checking email and reading latest headlines.
My significant other enjoys indulging herself with television.
Sometimes we both just sit and play video games :]
we watch movies together, but when I am on my own I like to be on xanga and he plays video games too.
He plays video games, movies, or drinks. T__T
I surf the internet, usually on sites such as Xanga, FML, FB, YT, Allkpop, etc.
We're pretty lazy and inactive. Haha.
i am always on the computer, its the first thing that i turn on when i get home. im sure that applies to everyone in my family. i can sit here all day with the occasional bathroom breaks and looking for food or just chasing my dog around.
my bf on the other hand, it more a TV person. he goes home and he either becoming a couch potato on the couch or on his bed watching tv, then eventually grabs his laptop to come online and chat to me until he goes to sleep.
when we hang out its watching DVDs or tv!
Haha looks like most bf's just play video games in their down time, based on these comments at least. And that is exactly what mine is doing right now. I usually just read or waste time on the computer.

What down time? lol My bf will play games with his room mates and on the rare occasion i get a break, I'll read a book, which he will randomly feel like doing. That or I'll write my own stories...tis a good thing I'm an English major!
In my spare time I tend to surf the net, listen to music, watch tv or read a good book, or something else I can find to do.
My boyfriend tends to either go on msn, play his guitar =) or play video games. He's always eating too.
We both play online games. =]
Currently, we play Warhammer Online together.

I also like to peruse the internet [Xanga!] and waste my time on funny sites. It really is a time-waster but it's so relaxing.
He just sits around and watch tv/play games. I play on the computer whether it's computer games or videos on computer.
in my spare time, i'm either on the internet blogging, reading blogs or watching movies, my S.O., he's usually sitting in front of the tv watching sports or on the internet looking at car parts. together, we're usually just out on the town in san francisco shopping or just window shopping.
Recently, my boyfriend and I had purchase a few recipes books from the bookstore and every weekend we would both pick a recipe from the books and attempt to make them. If fun to be in the kitchen together and it's a friendly competition to see whose taste better. =P

He goes to work all day. I stay home.

So when he does get home, we spend all our time together.
But when we have like an hour away. we usually check our stuff online.

Is it kind of scary that our generation more and more plays video games on their downtime? Instead of like... doing more outdoor activities?
me, im on xanga. and watching tv. when im watching tv hes out of the room and talking to whoever is there. he prefers to watch movies on dvds. oh and he dances. i just sit and watch.
My ex liked to play tennis and basketball with his buds and sometimes me in his downtime.
I like to play tennis and read books in my downtime.
