Favorite Slightly Meaner Breakup Song, Part II
This song actually got me into Killswitch Engage.
My Last Serenade
"This is my last serenade. From yourself you cannot run away"
What better way to let your emotion out than through anger?

My favorite breakup song: The Breakup Song from... I think White Stripes? It's usually not my sound (I'm a rivethead. This song was sent to me by a friend during a breakup of mine)
"I'm counting on UFO's to beam me up, I just don't know how long I can take this shit, I'm over it! You've gotta go. It's the end, ex-girlfriend... how the hell did we get so stupid? One more thing before you go, can you please give me my records back?"
LOL.
Well I'm not a big fan of metal..and guitar bashing is kinda juvenile..but sure, a great break up song.
hahahaha. i'm a fan.
I'm disappointed the original music video was taken down from Youtube due to copyright arguments. Oh well.. they do great live shows too.
coolio, I heard of them but only recently.
Apparently, "letting out" your frustration doesn't help. =[. But it's so...counter-intuitive.
i agree that the breakup song is a good one and so is this one. Another good one was I hate everything about you kind of an oldie...
I love KSE
"your destination is a choice within yourself will you rise or become a slave" love that part
I don't care what anyone says about this type of rock genre. It's all about the lyrics itself right? Whether it be acoustic, country, pop, rock they all lean toward one thing which is opening up an emotion through song. And this one in particular is through anger
This song is my favorite metal song ever, and I don't even listen to metal regularly.
@Aiyoku_Angel@xanga - You mean American Hi-Fi?
Funny, my ex and I used to love listening to this song. Hadn't thought of it this way until now.
Killswitch is amazing.
I prefer the softer rock kind of thing, but screamo + heavy metal is still good. I like a nice guitar riff and a drumbeat, it soothes my soul after a few beers too. :3
Awww, how I <3 KsE!
Hehe, that song's great...I also like Carey Underwood's "Before He Cheats". It can work whether or not the ex or soon to be ex is a cheater. If you get angry enough, why not right? Just don't do the name carving thing.
