What would it take for you to stop being attracted to your SO? Say he/she gained 50 pounds, had a giant boil growing out of the side of his/her forehead or suddenly ended every sentence in "and that's what's up, motherfucker"...would you dump him/her?

Mostly I'm just attracted to his devilish wit and decent sized penis.
I think if his personality suddenly changed for some reason that might be unattractive to me. Physically I can't think of anything that would make him unattractive because I am not an on the surface type person.
it would take a lot. trust me. i've seen every side of his personality, and i still love him.
cheating on me. that would probably end it.

I think if all three of those things happened to my SO, I'd feel the need to take them to a doctor, because it sounds like some rare form of cancer of the brain.
Or i could just dump them. You know. Whatever.
If he changed and became a polar opposite of what he is now =P He's a church boy who doesn't smoke, drink, all that stuff. And a smart one too! haha...I guess if he cheated on me, I'd still have feelings for him. But I'd think he's ugly for doing that

To answer the question... my husband and I have been through A LOT together, and I really don't think there is anything that could make me not attracted to him. I'm in love with him... true love, and I don't think anything could change that.

I believe I can vouch for whoever that has commented above me on physical characteristics not to be a turn off to be liars, and all those below me who comment the same as well.

I don't judge by looks, 'causes I would know every inch of his personality BEFORE dating him/while dating him. As for the "and that's what's up, motherfucker", I do that all the time. I wouldn't mind if he did that, just not all the time.
If he gained weight I wouldn't care.

There would need to be like, a whole personality change involved...but even then, I don't know. I could probably get him to change back :P

It would take a lot more than physical changes. If he were to suddenly become an asshole, I would consider breaking it off.
Probably the only thing that would really make me consider leaving my boyfriend is if he started abusing me (be it physically or emotionally). I've been down the path before and it's not something I'm anxious to repeat ever again.
Some sort of physical change wouldn't make me leave him. I love the person he is, not the person he looks like. A significant physical change like gaining weight or some sort of growth would only make me try to help him, not shun him because he suddenly looks different. My boyfriend didn't dump me when I gained a shit load of weight, so who I am to judge him negatively if he were to do the same?
If his personality totally changed.. I'd have to punch him and say goodbye. I do love him though. Honestly Physically speaking.. Idk.. He's 240 already.. and I love him for it.. He's proportionate.. He's cuddly lol
If she picked up attitude. I know other guys who find it cute when their girlfriends back talk them and mock them; I absolutely hate it and it drives me insane. She can get sarcastic sometimes, but she makes it clear that she's kidding because she knows I have zero tolerance for any attitude.
By contrast my buddy's girlfriend is loaded up the ass with snarky remarks and back talk and while he likes it, it takes all my willpower not to cuss her out when she gets that way with me.
