Um, well, of course you would say yourself. But, music is a personal preference. And though I don't really listen my girlfriend's music, if she likes it, I won't stop her from listening to it.
I would say we both have good taste. Dating him has improved my musical tastes. He has introduced me to more variety of genres and I thank him for that. As for most embarrassing, I would say some song by Nick Lachey
i agree with latexduckie. you're never going to think someone else has the better taste in music, because if you like their music better that makes it your taste... useless question!
i dont think i ever improved anyone's "tastes" but one person i dated hooked me up with some sweet music i would never have found on my own
Me and him pretty much like the same music.
1.im so shur i hav better tayst in musik tho i will admit hez by far the better musician
2.& no hez alwayz gunna be an opera free zone hahahahaha
3.i never touch hiz itunez thatz taboo
Guess I am lucky my girl and I listen to the same stuff, mostly. As for her most embarrassing track don't think either of us have one, really. We both like the same stuff.
I JIZZED IN MY PANTS.
we both share the same taste in music.
Me of course. I have a broader range and knowledge of music.
He listens to some pretty awful rap music. =_=
she doesn't care for my metal, i don't really care for her hip hop, but i'm more tolertant to her j-pop, so I think she wins.
ok so the guy i am seeing is really awesome, and we actually bonded over music. We like basically the same stuff, but i would say mine is better just because I listen to a wider range of music than he does. but in general we are both fan of the same artist on the common ground.
He likes 50 cent's Candy shop xD and I'm pretty sure he has a miley cyrus song xDDDD
My last relationship I would have said my ex though. He had like a bagillion songs I had never even heard of, and they were awesome.
My boyfriend definitely has better music tastes. I basically just buy on iTunes what I like and hear from others. He has a HUGE music collection of about... seven-THOUSAND songs? Me on the other hand, I have about seven-hundred.
I'm single, but I'm pretty sure I've had the better of the music in all of my relationships. I listen to a lot of world/foreign music that the majority of the girls I've dated had never heard before so they thoroughly enjoy it. I get a lot of compliments, and every now and then I'll catch someone going through my ipod writing down songs titles!
I had better taste in music then her of course, but the sad thing is I don't listen to music much these days anymore.
Isn't this question very subjective?
I don't know who has "better" taste. All I know is we don't have the same tastes.
She loves indie music or anything that's quiet and chill. I on the other hand love loud rock music or anything with a wailing guitar.
Think Death Cab for Cutie or Corinne Bailey Rae vs. AC/DC or Killswitch Engage.
We do however agree on a few things. Country music, Jack Johnson, and John Mayer.
Unless I date a like minded person, I'm automatically going to assume I have the superior taste and have the critics backing me up.
Big Star > 90% of what's on the radio.
I've never dated or seriously like anyone that doesn't have at least similar taste in music as me. I'll listen to anything and you'll find every genre under the sun in a good amount on my ipod, but I LOVE heavy metal and it's a huge part of my life. When I find someone that does like my music (and it's rare for me to meet people who do) it's an instant turn on.
ME! for sure.
My boyfriend likes Slipknot and I won't let him listen to them while I'm in the car. ewww.
his music taste is MUCH better than mine. he's got a good variety of stuff, and most of the stuff i listen to just makes people wanna cut their wrists. my music taste has improved drastically since being with him though, i'm learning of a bunch of music i've never even heard of, but i love it. he doesn't have an mp3 player, but of the cd's in his car, i'd say there's not much to be embarrassed over. maybe some weird voltaire song about star trek, but that's about it, and that's quite comical...even if it is the nerdiest thing i've ever heard in my life.
We like the same music, pretty much, but I prefer slow songs while he likes rap/fast music.
He definitely improved my music by about a billion percent.
Hehehe, naturally I'm going to say that I have the better music taste.
But that's only because I'm into a variety of artists and genres. My boy is reeeealllyy only into metal and only a few artists.
Although there are some bands we can agree on and that makes me pretty darn happy (The White Stripes, Franz Ferdinand, SOAD, Coheed and Cambria.... I can't think of anything else at the moment. xD)
I think he's influenced me a bit by making me more tolerant to hearing constant metal. I hope to eventually broaden his mind a bit more too, but oh well. What can you do? I'm just happy we can agree on some type of music. :]
@asdfghjkieu@xanga - hahaha you should see the post I mad I put two of there videos up.. lol
I do of course. Metal is superior in every way to other "popular" genres.
Me and my boyfriend have extremely similar tastes in music. In fact, we knew quite a few of the same bands when we first met...Now we tend to introduce each other to new bands. My boyfriend has a more of a metal taste then I. I have always been really into rock, ex; APC, Chevelle, Fair to Midland, Tool, 10 Years, etc, but I am starting to adore more metal as well. A lot of the bands he has shown me really have grown on me ((rock + metal alike)). Some of the bands he introduced me too are among my favorites now ((Bring Me The Horizon, Killswitch Engage, Five Finger Death Punch, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Seether, etc)).
He doesn't really have any embarrassing music on his itunes XD That's my job. XD
