Admittedly, I think of Victoria's Secret first when I think of the word "sexy" - good marketing job, guys. But, truthfully, I don't think their stuff is particularly sexy, nor is anything that intentionally tries to be sexually alluring.
I don't really like the word "sexy" because a) it makes me uncomfortable for some reason; b) I think the word is so overused and commercialized; c) I like to think I have a better vocabulary and can use it accordingly.
But if I had to sum up what I think is sexy, I think it's confidence, brains, a little bit of intrigue, honesty, chivalry, trust...not a six-pack or silk boxers (seriously?)

i think this is a really good post. indeed, sexy is not someone with a six pack or a girl standing there in her underwear.
sexy is being confident and comfortable with yourself, having an alluring presence because of how you hold yourself. to me, sexy is about personality and how you carry yourself, not something physical or material. sexy is being comfortable with WHO you are and embracing yourself, not what you look like or what you're wearing.
Sexy is everything that attracts you to a person. Confidence is high on the list of sexy, and a sense of humour and clean looks certainly help. It's hard to define. =/

Definitely not 6 pack abs, anyone can have those, but not everyone is smart.
I don't think money is sexy at all, I think sometimes it's a turn off because it makes the person arrogant. Unless he's down to earth and humble, oh and smart :p
Charm is sexy as well, there's something about a person who is full of life, funny and mysterious :)
And success is also, anyone who reaches their dreams is full on sexy !

A short-haired brunette. Her hair is not too short or long, but around shoulder length, I suppose. She has nice, long, smooth legs. Perhaps she used to dance or works out on a regular basis. I agree with most of what has been said, but I would like to add something a little more materialistic to the list: to me, something about boxer-briefs makes them incredibly sexy. Just sayin'.

So Sexy could be the confidence and feel free from some stress. so when i said sexy to someone i am thinking about the way other is showing his boldness.
