When Your SO Catches You Off-Guard with Something Cute
My SO and I have been together for over a year. We argue a lot. And for a while, I was constantly mad at him about his attitude towards his schoolwork. Thinking back, I was a bit bitchy.
I remember one time, he said/did something and I got mad. Immediately, I got pissed and started to "yell" (without the volume) at him. Right after I said one thing, one sentence, really quickly he said, "Don't be mad! Your voice is really hot when you're angry but it scares me."
It was so cute, and my anger disappeared, haha! Has something similar happened to you where your SO has said a cute phrase that caught you off-guard? What other things do they say that are really sweet?

Haha, all the time. Everytime when I a "mad," like I was actually mad at something he did, he always says, "You're pretty."
That always make the madness go away.
Or he would just hug me, and say something really stupid and dorky and I would just start laughing again.
That's why I can never stay mad at him. I just end up laughing.
my bf always looks so sad and idkkk when i get mad at him. and i can't stand looking at those eyes! SO I either avoid it, which i eventually look at it anyway, and eventually let it go lol :( lol not fair
Whenever I'm mad, my husband hugs me. Like, a giant hug and starts kissing me all over the face. He's a good nine inches taller than me and outweighs me by about 100lbs so I can't really do much of anything to move and it totally melts away my bad mood. I love it.

If I was mad, and my boyfriend called me hot or pretty, or did anything except apologize, it'd just make it worse. When I'm mad I want to be taken seriously.Â
My SO always goes out the same day and gets me a cute card and hugs me and kisses me.. and I can't really move cuz he's like 240 and I'm 130.. so you know..
and he calls me his lil feller and a grumpy bear and I can't ever stay mad at him cuz he gets all adorable..
my ex would always make me so mad i'd start crying and then say, "you're so cute when you cry!" I fucking hated him for that.
I guess this wasn't what you were asking for, but that's what the story reminded me of.
My ex and I never really hugged or kissed in high school. But one day, as I just walked off to go home like I always did, he came after me and said, "Hey, what are you doing later?" I looked puzzled. So he kissed me and asked that I call him later (even though he always called me anyway...). I'll never forget that :)

actually it happened yesterday, we were having a small argument about him being mean and always making fun of me and pointing out my flaws. & he grabbed me started tickling me, hugging me, and kissing me on the cheeks and forehead and he said " don't ever change, you're perfect the way you are and i love you for it."
& it wasn't the typical, cliche that most people would say or write in a year book. it was really something special.
"I love you baaaaby."
Melts me everytime. Not fair, because he escapes my wrath! haha
I've never really been "mad" at my bf. Although he has caught me off guard with cute comments, because he isn't the guy you would really expect to make the cute comments...like, for example:
I said "Hey beautiful" to him ((I find it amusing calling him beautiful XD)) and he replied "You shouldn't talk to yourself, people will think you are crazy"...Caught me off guard, I didn't even really comprehend the compliment until a few seconds later...
I was tying a bow around my wrist ((Don't ask, I'm odd)), and I said "I feel pretty" and he replied, "How is that different from any other day?"
He tends to catch me off guard with those, it's really sweet though :)
My boyfriend has this effect on me. All the fucking time.
him: 3 months. and then it'll be 6 months. and then a year. and then 2 years. and then six years. and soon it'll be sixty years...

totally caught me off guard, we were just chilling and when he said that i couldnt stop smiling. hands down, the most romantic thing my bf's ever said to me.

lol. I used to do the same.. I'd yell at my boyfriend about his attitude regarding his homework. That gets me so riled up sometimes how he doesn't take it seriously.
One time the boyfriend & I were arguing.. mid-convo, he sent me a song [T.I.'s Whatever You Like] saying how that made him think of me & how he wanted to give me whatever I liked. Needless to say, I instantly softened up despite how inappropriate the timing was. But it's him & only he can get away with things like that. :)

one of my potentials (i'm currently single) said it was cute when i got mad/yelled. he also said, "you're a bitch, i'm an asshole, we're perfect!"
lol and PS: no we're not actually bitches and assholes...just mean flirting.
valentine's day. we were driving somewhere for dinner. i was mad at him. then he whispered that he's reminded of me every time he saw a thai restaurant because it seemed like i always wanted thai food. i melted. it was so hard to continue being mad at him.
(we were doing the long distance relationship thing.)
