  • My Favorite Hot Song, Part II

With me, it's very least likely I'll ever make out, make love or have sex to music, because once music comes on, all I think about is that music. The lyrics, the arrangements, the message intended, etc. I'm your garden variety music geek. But my personal rule with music to make love to is this: it, at least, has to discuss love or your love for somebody in a little less cliche manner. (That rule will be slightly broken, by the way.) And the love song also helps if it has that romantic energy built inside the song to make you want to make love to someone.

Of all the bands I know to do that, it is between two chillout bands: Air and Royksopp. Air might have "Playground Love" BUT I think one that really gets it done is "La Femme D'Argent". The track is completely instrumental and lets the people do the work to the music. Nary a word is spoken.

You get no time to focus on any lyrics, smart or dumb, and nothing to make dance. It's you, her and the atmosphere at hand. Funny enough, they also created songs like "Run," which is both the strangest and the sexiest tune you'll ever hear. There isn't any other really way to describe it, other than paranoia, mixed with a love with whomever you are with at the time.

Add your own favorite music for getting busy (and a story, if you like) here.
