Build Her A Cake Or Something
In Napoleon Dynamite, Pedro asked Summer to the dance with a cake. Although it didn't work out for him, maybe it's had a more positive effect for other people...
Have you ever wooed someone with baked goods? What kind of food (if any) would it take to make you go out with someone you wouldn't ordinarily go to the dance with?

Works like a charm.
I <3 food. Notice to any guys wishing to pick me up lol....food is good.
haha,
"FOOD IS THE SECRET TO MY HEART" =)
GAWw sound like a fatassss
Yeah, my goodies have been effective at procuring what my heart desires.

My BFF and I make baked goods for guys (and family) all the time. I can't wait to make them all for my love when he comes home :D I brought him baked goods when I visited... an invention of cake balls dipped in chocolate that we found on the internet.
Cakes also work well!
Any kind of food, so long as some dedication is put into making it. If they go to a bakery and grab a cake, that wouldn't win me over.
Yes, it works well. I've also made a successful sorry cake.
I haven't wooed anyone with my own made baked goods, but I once surprised an old gf with a sub from Subway. She was really stressing out over an exam and was in her room all day, so I swung by (btw we went to separate colleges) with her favorite drink and sub made just the way she liked it (turkey and wheat. Huh, can't believe I still remember that).
Her response when she saw me? She threw her bed pillows at me out of embarrassment haha. Totally worth it.
I've been wooed by a guy who gave me a baked good x]. he liked me, and asked me to his prom by baking a cake with the words "PROM?" on it.
Everybody likes FOOD!!!!
I baked cupcakes for someone once, and put a cinnamon candy heart in each of them. The way to a guy's heart is through his stomach, am I not right?
cupcakes are awesome.
Why does this post remind me of the scene in American Pie with Jason Biggs and Eugene Levy when they are standing in the hallway looking at the family portrait discussing masturbation and Levy says "I've done a fair bit of it in my day, I've never done it with baked goods"
Haha, people used to bake things people people all the time at my high school. The idea sort of got boring after the third time we heard about a person's name spelled out on each cupcake...
I don't think I've ever received baked goods as a bribe (which is good, because it's already difficult rejecting someone I don't like as it is). I always tell my friends I'll bake cookies for them if they forgive me for not hanging out with them, though. Haha.
friend-zoned!
I haven't given a loved one any baked goods before even though I love baking. But one Christmas, I made my ex boyfriend pasta. It had red and green colors in it just for the holiday. He loved it!
"Come to the dark side. We have cookies!"
No lie: I had a friend who asked a guy out with a bag of Sun Chips...and it worked.
The relationship failed though. Figures huh?
chocolates...........yummy~!
I like cupcakes & chocolate chip cookies, cakes are good too
Always. I get the boyfriend to help me with the promise that I'd cook or make his favorite dish! :)
& that's how he caught me. :P "Are you hungry? Want some buffalo wings? Want tacos? Want Anna's Taqueria?"
We also had a HUGE fight one night, about three months into our relationship, during which he called it quits & walked out on me. He came back two hours later to apologize for being so stupid & hurtful.. just as the Dominos deliveryman called to drop off buffalo wings, salad & Coke! I had a difficult time forgiving him but the food definitely helped put him in good graces~ :)
Oh geez.. now that I look at it, food has always played a big role in resolving our conflicts. LOL. What can I say? We're just two McFatties that were meant for each other. :)
I never really got asked to dances, but the most unusual thing I was ever given by a guy was a dead rose.
It would be the most thoughtful thing for a guy to bake for me. He'd win me over in an instant.Â
I wish someone would bake for me! :(
