I met my current SO on hotornot.com 2 years ago but we didn't start dating until 5 months ago and I actually just met him for the first time 6 months ago. We were internet friends the other years. He was the only guy on the site that didn't talk to me about sex and who still wanted to talk to me when he found out I had a bf. I had just wanted to use the site to see if i was hot lol my rating was 7.6! The site ended up giving me my bestfriend and the most amazing bf I've ever had!
I don't realy remember who made the first move. It might of been a team effort lol.
My first impression was complete shock. He was everything I had been looking for plus more! I still think that and feel very lucky to have him!!!
my boyfriend and I went to high school together, but things didn't really start happening until prom. We danced almost exclusively together all night and spent the whole night at the after prom party talking. He didn't ask me out, though, so I asked him to tutor me in physics, and he suggested we go to my favorite restaurant...the rest is history =].
I was always mad at him before that, though, cause he was so smart he always ruined the curve =p. I always thought he was a bit of a nerd, but in the good, amazing, he's always a really attractive and in-shape swimmer way lol. I guess that hasn't really changed much...
Hubby and I met at work. I was "dating" one of his Marines and a mutual friend of ours told me that Hubby was going to ask me out on a date. I'm so glad I went! We've been together ever since.
Ha Ha , my mother actually introduced us and i was not even attracted to him , but he just was relentless and showed up at my dorr almost everyday and we would eventually spend hours talking outside looking at the stars and cassiopia to be specific , corny and cliche i know but one day it seemed as though i saw him in a whole new way , the day hi reached over and kissed me , it was the spark that started the fire...been together now 7 years in july!
1) jail
2) I did3) he was totally hot.I met my significant other through a mutual friend at the time...she isn't my friend anymore because, turns out she was secretly in love with my man on the low.
My first impression of him was....whoa, he's BIG! Second thought...Is this boy really gone like me?
That was almost 4 years ago! Now we're engaged... <3
I met my SO in my flat when I was studying abroad in England. We were best friends almost immediately and I realized about a month before I was headed for home that I was in love with him. Two days before I left I mustered up the courage to tell him and he felt the same way. This was nearly two years ago and we've been in a happy long-distance relationship since then. I'll be moving to the UK this summer to see what happens.
In the beginning I really thought we were only meant to be friends. I wasn't looking for a serious relationship while I studied abroad, but it just happened and I'm so happy it did.
I met my SO when I was attending college. I actually met him through my ex-fiance because my SO was the game-master of a tabletop role playing group, so I got into that. My first game was Star Wars.
I was instantly attracted to my SO, James, primarily by his charisma, his sense of humor, his looks, and his ability to tell stories. We kept it as friends for a few years, but I knew I was in love with him one day when I had to leave college to be hospitalized. We were at the college's gym together playing ping pong, and I had broken down into tears because of a phone call from my mother about having to drop out due to my illnesses. In order to cheer me up, James suddenly flopped onto the ping pong table and did a ridiculous impression of a seal. I knew right there and then that I wanted to be with him. :P His spontaneous, crazy humor had me hooked.
After I broke up with my ex (who turned abusive) a couple years later, I eventually started dating James. My love for him has only grown stronger through the years that we've been together as a couple. I adore that man like no other, and we're so well suited for each other.
at a community college in what had to be the worst class ever. we are now engaged
at church.
he went to my church but from a different city. and my friend was like 'whoa who's that? he's hot'
and i was like 'meh. some guy from toronto i guess...'
and now i'm totally in love with him...and totally attracted to him haha
We met at church. The people our age (grad school/young adults) hang out a lot, so we were spending a lot of time together in a group. I was kinda seeing someone else, but I was interested in Adam and wondered what it would be like to date a nice guy like him for once! Ha! I stopped seeing the other guy pretty fast. I started to notice that Adam never left a restaurant, somebody's house, wherever until I did, so that we would get a chance to talk alone every time as we walked out to our cars. I guess I kinda made the first move, because one night out by my car I told him to let me know if he wanted to hang out sometime that week [alone]. A few days later we went out to lunch, then we had our first date... that was a few months ago, and now we're engaged!! :)
we met @the university wer he teachiz he made the furst move i thot he wuuza bit offan old skool hippie boy wuzzi wrong
my bad hahahahahahaha
I met my husband at a Rakim concert at school. A friend of mine performed as a sort of contest type deal before Rakim, so I was going over to speak to him when my husband stopped me and told me that he really liked my hair (it was braided up into a fro-hawk). I thanked him and then continued around the room to speak to my friend. On my way back to my original spot, my husbands friend stopped me. He said "My friend really wanted to ask for your number, but he complimented your hair instead. He's kind of lame, right?" then I replied "I actually think it's kind of cute" When I looked at my husband I saw his dirty sneakers and realized that the first time I saw him in my life was on the bus earlier that morning and I said "I saw you on the bus this morning" while looking at his sneakers. He remembered me from the bus, too, but he thought I was making fun of his dirty sneakers. I guess he thought I must be cool enough if I can make fun of his sneakers so he found me on facebook and we talked about hip hop. The morning on the bus was the first time I've ever seen him in my life, even though we went to the same school for two years. After that day though, we kept bumping into each other everywhere and it wasn't long before we got together. It was perfect timing. He had broken up with his ex a few months ago, and I had just decided like a week or two before that I wasn't going to try to get back together with mine.
As for first impressions, I actually didn't really like him during our first "date" but I warmed up a little at the end of it. I still didn't like him romantically, but I thought we could be friends (before I actually didn't wanna be his friend lol). But that changed obviously. He's my best friend and lover. Couldn't ask for more.
I met my honey on match.com. He winked first, so he technically made the first move. My first impression online was that he was very personable, sweet, and down to earth. When I met him in person I thought he was very sexy and wonderful. These impressions have not changed. It's been over a year for us now.
In the student uion of the University we attend. He was a lanky nerd boy who my boyfriend at the time played card games with. He's still a lanky nerd boy. We became best friends over time, and about 8 months after the boyfriend and I ended it.. he finally made the first move.
the strip club.
lalalallala.
wait, i've been single for over a year! :)
on plentyoffish.com. i messaged him first, but he asked me out on a date first. i was completely smitten with his online persona and nothing changed when i met him in person. it's been 7 months now. :)
He's not current anymore...but I met him on myspace (take that eHarmony! lol)
I met my boyfriend a month or so into this school year in Japanese class.
He made the first move by grabbing my waist several times a day =]
facebook. I loved him the moment i set my eyes on him but we werent meant to be..i still love him now.
Hmm I met my current SO through my ex. It was like his best mate. Was totally unexpected to be honest.
About a year after me and my ex broke up me and my current SO were at my mate's and we just hit it off. I always thought that he was a nice guy and pretty quiet, still think he's nice but not so much quiet now. Not sure who made the first move it was pretty much both of us that did. =) am glad things turned out the way they did though coz he's amazing.
I met him way back in 8th grade earth and space class. We were both young and would NEVER admit that we were dating until 4 months after we probably could have considered it. We've been dating on and off for the past 7 years. Neither of us really "made the first move" we just kind of, started talking, and have been in love ever since. AW sickeningly cute >.
I got to know him on the internet and we first met after some months at my place.
I was totally stunned and thought he´s so cute cause he brought me a gib flowerbouquet for my birthday.
I made the first step...okay it was somehow we both :)
met him at ihop, he made the first move and i thought he was cute lol
He messaged me on Facebook. I'd never dated an Indian guy before... and when I first met him, I thought he was too quiet and shy for my taste. But the more I got to know him, the more I saw the sweetness.
