Location: Chicago, IL
Age: 23
Occupation: Soon-to-Be Graduate Student
About Me: I'm a recent honors grad from the University of Minnesota English department. I'm currently living in Chicago, but I'll be moving this summer to the UK to undertake a masters degree as well as putting an end to the "long-distance" title in my relationship. I am all about writing and I hope to be a successful novelist and screenwriter in the near future. As of right now, I'm blogging regularly and looking for freelance projects. I'm very friendly and love a good night out, but at the same time I can be happy as a clam staying in to watch a DVD or read a book.
My Ideal SO: I like being with someone that makes me laugh every day. Other preferred traits...intelligent, ambitious, likes to cook, likes to go out, likes to stay in, gets along with my family and friends, good driver, responsible, enjoys traveling, and someone who values me and accepts every part of me, even the bad parts (like how I don't cook).
Random Things I Like: Books. Traveling. Chicago. Movies. Reality TV. Hot wings. Dancing. Online shopping. Trying different beers and wines. New Orleans. Going out to eat. The zoo. London. Cookies. Going out on dates. Live theatre. Edinburgh. Swimming. Pedicures. Baseball. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Blogs about writing. Attempts at organization even if they almost always end in failure. Taking pictures. Laughing. Being with my family and friends.

Hi
Hello
You said you hope to be a successful novelist/screenwriter soon. Have you completed some and just haven't had success with them, or have you not written any yet?
:) hiiiiiiiiii miss reindeer
Wow, I feel like I've just met my twin, hah. We have nearly everything in common! I aspire to be a Novelist/Screenwriter also, and I'm in a long distance relationship. Good luck, I hope everything works out for you

big strapping Germanic blond buxom wench? nice keister? good child bearing hips here?
Welcome! Give me lots of relationship dilemmas and I will love you foreverrrrr!
@methodElevated@xanga - I've always been writing, but I just started submitting my short stories for publication in January. I have two upcoming stories being published in online journals, so that's a good start. As for novels and screenplays, I always have something in the works. Just need to get around to finishing them...
@TheBrokenPoet@xanga - Thanks for the well wishes! Hope you enjoy my future posts :)
Hello!
I love how all of you guys come up with these cute user names! :)
Hi!
New Orleans and Edinburgh are two of my favorite places :) Well, I haven't been to the latter yet, but my parents lived there before I was born, and Rowling lives there, so what's not to love?
Nice to meet you!
@italktotrees@xanga - one day (and i'm sure you will) make it out to Edinburgh.
I just think it's magical, which I know is a really lame word, but it's true!
Welcome!! (ps. I love that you love hot wings, lol)
Hooray for grad students!
@CafeAuLait - i really really do!
@beforedawn@xanga - hey asshole say something normal/ from this world. If you're not willing to then maybe stick to world of warcraft or something- you blatantly like it judging from your picture.
xoxo
@Gossip Girl xoxo - hey hey, let's all be nice to each other!
@beforedawn@xanga - the oxford english dictionary defines normal as "people who don't live in a fantasy world for example, world of warcraft, nor use the term 'buxom wench' (on more than one occasion)". I have the upmost respect for those who have been in the war and believing in angels is fair enough, however, I personally don' t think that referring to a lady's "keister" or "child bearing hips" before you even know them is acceptable. Maybe I'm just old fashioned though... (oh and gossip girl is ironic- its a tv show (you'd know if u could tear yourself away from the computer screen.))
xoxo
