I asked the boyf what he thought, and he didn't particularly agree. "I don't talk to my friends about any of that," he said. "I'd be embarrassed."
I've found that my girl friends and I are much more open about things like that - my closest female friend in the city gets pretty thorough recaps of my experiences (I get hers, too) and my sister gets even more thorough ones. We're close enough that we can talk about things like that (slightly euphemized, of course) and not be uncomfortable.

I wouldn't tell any of my friends anything about my sex life, really. Not because of "embarrassment" (What's there to be embarrassed about unless the performance is bad?) but simply because A) It's none of their business and B) I don't really think any of my friends would be dying to know about anybody elses sexual encounters.

Im pretty freaking open. Just look at my latest blog and you'll see (at the bottom in red) Im pretty blunt when it comes to sex and how awesome it is. And this is online, imagine how much more I reveal to personal friends?
I'd pretty much tell my best friend anything, if she asked or if we were just in conversation about it. I don't just tell her the details, but I wouldn't really mind either. Not much is really awkward between us. I wouldn't feel comfortable talking in detail to anyone else, though.

The close guyfriends I have I don't tell them anything. It's not about being embarrassed. I just don't feel comfortable sharing those kind of details with boys.

My friends know I'm not a virgin. It will always end there. I'm a private person, so I really just want it to stay between the my partner and I. It's more intimate that way, at least for me.

I only talk about it with 2 of my closest friends, a guy friend who is totally chill and mature about it and will give a guy's perspective and a lesbian who is more hush-hush about it but will put her two cents in once in a while. But that's about it.
