Miss Fox(You probably thought this was about a threesome, didn't you?

)
Long-time partners Desirai Labrada and John Henry decided to get married in late 2008.
Average story, right?
Wrong.
The couple, having first met on the intensely popular XBOX game "Halo," decided to have a Halo-themed wedding.
From the design of Desirai's wedding dress to the song she'd walk down the aisle to (a theme song from "Halo 3"), this couple was totally into turning their vows into a digital masterpiece.
Labrada and Henry are
serious when it comes to choosing two-player games.
Instead of having a first dance at their wedding on January 17th (which happens to be the Master Chief's Spartan number [117]), the couple opted for a bride vs. groom, one-on-one Halo tournament. They even named the tables after digital maps from Halo.
Do you think you would in for a "themed" wedding? Are you more traditional, or would you be up for the creative challenge?
The couple who met in all of Halo's romantic goodness.

I think a wedding with a theme is always better than the traditional one... It makes the wedding more special and unique from others...
This is just too cute. :)
cute idea ^_^ i'd love to do a reverse colors wedding, where the bride wears black...but my mom's not too convinced lol, and i'm not so certain i am either.
gag me
wow o.O
.
I'd like to have a themed wedding but not like that. I haven't put too much thought into what I want since I'm still young but I know for sure that I'd love to have a non-traditional wedding cake. If anybody watches Ace of Cakes on Food Network, then you'd know what I'm talking about
That is SO awesome. I'd be all over that, definitely.
wow...I wonder what they're going to name their children...
I would definitely do something like this.
My husband and I had a tradition wedding. Gahs.
holyshit.
they must REALLY love halo
losers...at least choose a better game.
@kor_girl@xanga - That was what I was thinking.
HELL.
TO THE NO.
I WILL NOT DO NOTHING
THAT IS GAME RELATED.
Sorry, fuck that .
But theme = veryyyyyyy cute ;) I would really do something like that..Or, maybe - Do a Traditional wedding by..walking down the aisle *because I think it's so beautiful* and then at the party afterwards...make it themed..
MM..why the hell am i thinking about this
Haha, why do I have a bad feeling if my SO reads this he would jokingly suggest this.
A themed wedding would be AWESOME =)
themed might be a cool idea... and i mean, if they both like it, why not? no reason to judge them for doing something they liked so much.
but that wouldn't be for me
I haven't even thought about weddings... i still have a few years to think about it.
Cute, but I would never have a video game themed wedding. Maybe other theme weddings... hmmmm.
The most deviant my wedding would ever become is by being in a park, meadow, or on the beach.
Awesomeness--
and a half.
then, there's underage people who meet adults on Xbox, run off, and end up in TROUBLE ...
Idk if I could go that far...
but nerd love is cute. xD
This reminds me of my ex's brother... Part of the terms of the brother's marriage to his high school sweet heart was that he got to name the kids after his favorite book and movie characters, within reason.
So first there was Anakin (Skywalker/Vadar from Star Wars)
Then Bella (Bellatrix from Harry Potter)
And a week ago Erik (Magneto from the X-Men comics) was born
I thought it was crazy at first, but the names seem to fit well.
haha wow, i think that must be the sweetest thing for them, and really means a lot. really personal.
but as for me... i actually have no idea.
i know girls dream of their wedding day from like childhood, but i don't think i really gave it a serious thought, the only idea i came up with a LONG time ago was getting married in Disney Florida with everyone dressed as Disney characters, hahaha.
thats just awesome lol
That's pretty insane.
For a while I thought I was going to get married aboard a pirate ship with me dressed as a wench (and him being obviously the pirate)
I dont think that will be happening.
I think it's a great idea. It means that for the rest of their lives they'll be able to look back on their wedding and say, "we made it truly ours"
An awesomly unique idea that means the world to them. And that's what a wedding should be all about: the celebration of love between two people who vow to be there through everything for their significant other.
Sure, it might not be EVERYBODY'S idea of a "dream" wedding, but if it's THEIR dream, who are we to stand and judge!?
Chillax, and let each to their own!
