Alesse, only. I used to have my er, gentleman, wear a condom, but it just wasn't working out for either of us. I consulted my doctor on the possibilities of the birth control not being effective, and he assured me of how it works, and the probability of it failing.
That being said, I take it at the same time every single day, without missing.
I also use it (nice little side effect) to help control acne, I used to get it bad. As well, it helps make my periods shorter and lighter.
I am currently not using any form of birth control because I am not sexually active, but since I do some youth work I try to stay current on all the options available. Frankly I am not impressed with the selection available and the side effects of each. However I suppose if you are going to take a bodily function that is working perfectly and try to make it stop working all together the options couldn't possibly be good ones.
I'm not sexually active but I'm on Jolessa (BC pills) for my periods. I love being on birth control. It saves me money (I go through a lot of pads every month) and the frustration of it ruining an entire week every month, especially while I'm away at college. I kind of have it timed so that when I go home for breaks I can get a refill on my prescription.
The only problem with being on the BC is that my periods are heavier when I do get them, and I get cramps (I NEVER got cramps before). But, can't have everything. And Jolessa, unlike the other stuff I was on, doesn't make me gain weight. Woo.
Condom. Because I'm a guy. :P
i'm on the pill. i like it but if i miss it by like half an hour i'll get my period.
@AllMyNamesAreTaken@xanga - same, i never got cramps before but i get them now. and my periods are heavier now too. isn't the pill supposed to not give you those? and i never gained any weight, either. :)
I'm on the pill AND I use condoms. I don't trust either method alone -- you can never be too sure :)
birth control? not having sex. yep. marriage isn't too far off ;)
I'm not on birth control. So far, no children.
Not sexually active, but I am on the nuvaring for the cramps. I like it because I don't have to remember to take a pill. I'm really forgetful, so me taking pills is a bad idea... :P
condoms, because birth control pills do not protect against stds and stis. i don't have a boyfriend or anything but i am sexually active so i need to be careful about that sort of thing.
the right time the right place with a beautiful woman who is just for you,not to sound like a hopeless romantic or anything but i went out to this asian club and struck out all night and i cant recall the last time sumthin like that happen witch made me wonder, paradise is good no matter were u are as long as u have that one special person to share it with, cuz i notice alot of people their came with sumbody and the others just wanted to watch the performer, and thats when i relised im 25 and missing out on what a few times i could have
well dating guru, ever had this problem
I havent been on birth control in like 2 years. It made me miserable, im already an emotional person and it just made me upset all the time. We do wear protection, but i understand that its not 100% safe.....
Well I use the pill.
I just had a baby, planned pregnancy, and I don't want another one.
Ever! or at least for a very long time. That's my method. =]
Condoms and after that failed a couple of times, abstinence. I'm not in a relationship so I'm the type to stop before something goes horribly wrong. If I get into a relationship, I might consider something more long-term.
PANTS! The only 100% effective method of birth control besides menopause.
crocodile shit ftw

@crazacracagord@xanga - @datingish - hahahahahahaha well persunaly i use homosexuality for burth kontrol im not so shur crazacracagord & me ar kompatible eh
I use the Nuvaring. I can't use the pill since I always forget to take them.
I'm on the pill, and we sometimes use condoms.
I'm on the nuva ring. I was on the patch for a few months, but it made me super moody and my then-boyfriend told me I had to stop using the patch, which I very much agreed with. The ring is awesome, I love it.
I use the FAM (Fertility Awareness Method). We used it effectively for two years before trying to conceive and then successfully conceived our first time! :) I thought it would be really difficult to get used to my cycle and take a lot of time but it's been SUPER easy and I love that I'm not putting hormones in my body. Especially with my mom being diagnosed with an estrogen and progesterone based breast cancer. :)
If you use FAM correctly, it has a higher effectiveness rate than condoms. :D Plus, my doctor loves it because I'm so aware of my body and my cycle and it made pinpointing ovulation for this pregnancy very easy, thus dating for the baby has been easy! :)
i am currently on THE PILL :P I was using Paragard for a year and a half before it slipped down and became totally useless. D: Stupid uterus!!!
I'm on the pill because my period was HORRIBLE before it, and it affected me everyday (I'm not sexually active).
