Going Out of Your Way to See Your Crush
Have you ever gone out of your way to catch a glimpse of somebody you had your eye on?
Maybe you go to CVS to see that cute cashier that is always working instead of going to Walgreens...even though Walgreens is much closer.
If you have done it, what did you think would come out of it? Also, what's the furthest out of your way you've gone just to see someone?

Ohhhhh boy, all the time. :)
I usually just hope that I'll get a chance to talk to him. I don't go too far out of my way, though; I try to not be ridiculous about it!
i don't. my eye candies usually find out my myspace/facebook.
Wow. Of course I have. I have way too many stories about this starting since Elementary School haha. Most of the time good came out of it. I ended up meeting the girl and talking with her. Knowledge is power, and the more you see someone, the more you know.
All the time.
I'd use to purposely walk by his locker or walk the way where I have a clear idea that I'm going to bump into him.
But then again, when I don't get to see him, I get so disappointed. That feeling sucks, because after all the anticipation of possibly being able to see him only to find out I can't see him, is the worst feeling ever.
I've gone quite out of my way to see my crush. Lol. (I bought a plane ticket last November without my mom knowing so I could go home and see my boyfriend at the time =D).
Who hasn't? I've always made fake excuses in class just so my seat could be moved in plain view of my crush, like wanting to sit next to the door even though it was winter and the door was always wide open.
I used to do that all the time in high school. Most recently though, I saw this really cute guy working at a nutrition store in a mall close to my campus. I would pass by his store every week after class and, you know, try to give him a flirty look (*fail*).. but I haven't done that in a while since my stupid school was on strike.
Haha well, I guess you could say the furthest out of the way I went to see a crush was just recently, when I went to CA (I'm from MD). Sure, there were other reasons why I went over there, but seeing her was one of the main things I was looking forward to during my trip.
Of course realistically I'm not expecting too much to happen because of the distance. However, a guy can dream no?
I'm sure I have. T was joking to me about how much a guy was willing to do for one of our friends, and I surmised out loud about wondering how much I'd do. We locked eyes, and she responded, "a lot". So yeah... I mean... after all, I did fly 2000 miles to visit my ex for the first time and eventually moved that distance to go to college with her...
I don't really do it for guys that I have a crush on, just for guys that I actually really like. and I haven't gone TOO out of my way; I just like sit near them or walk a different way to class to see them or something.
And what do I think I'll get out of it? Honestly, I think I just do it cause it would make me a bit happier. But at this point, I don't really get happy when I see the guy I like. I see him and we talk all the time anyways, haha. Now I have jealousy problems :/
I used to have this friend that I had a big crush on. I was in college and this friend was still in high school. Friend's house was a little more than a mile down the road from my college. I had 2 hours to kill in between my classes, so I walked to the friend's house. It was mid-July. I live in Georgia. It was hotter than 400 hells, but I walked that uphill mile & a half just to see someone I can't stand now.
I've done this before, but never again.
nah, i gotta let fate take over.Â
hahaha i DEFINITELY have.
it's ridiculous the things i did.
i used to do that in high school. i remember this crush that i had for the longest time used to always hang out in this mall on the weekends and so i purposely went there to bump into him every week. after some time, it had become so much of a ritual that i continued doing it even after i lost interest in him.
Yes, around the school... I once cut my finger so I could go to the office when his name was called. And he wasn't there!
@Roadlesstaken@xanga - Haha! I flew to Chicago to see my crush (I live in New Orleans). Yes, we can always dream =)
The most I've done is...walk down a particular hallway in a building.
I'm more of the "I'll sit here and wait until the right one comes up to me because it's easier and it saves the embarrassment of rejection" type.
@KNEESOXROCK@xanga - wow!!!!!
@t_ray_c@xanga - Cool =) . Anything good arose from seeing your crush?
@KNEESOXROCK@xanga - Ditto to what shockedchic said. That's hardcore.
I use to go up to work all the time to see the guy I liked. I would go and talk to him whenever I got a chance.
We are married :)
@tubbz87 - HAHA is your flirty look the look to your right and then flip your hair and swing your head toward his direction?
me and my friends used to do this all the time! It's a good way to socialize though, it always made my day.
-___- this boy used to work at burgerking, and i'd beast on bk just to see him.
therefore, i ate unhealthy & gained mad weight. that iis, until he got busted for all his speeding tickets & got caught sellin weed.
but when i do things like that, i often hope that the boy would come up to me. -__- usually they find me on facebook/myspace. i can be outgoing, and when im in the right mood, i don't mind going up to him myself eventually and strike conversation.
i was in vegas for winter break, met 2 girls (sisters) at a club and hoped i'd see them again before leaving. they told me which hotel they were staying at and i made sure to "randomly" stop by that hotel before i left to go home 3 days later. long shot, right? i actually saw them there. what was the probability of that?
@nexthorizon@xanga - easy to say when you're a girl!
I don't stalk.
