Not S&M but T&T (Tie and Tease)...I'd feel silly if some woman called me "Master" But for those into scenes and all, more power to ya.

there's a difference between s&m and D/s. I'm more into D/s but it's hard to get my husband involved in it. He has issues with doing anything he things is degrading to me, in his mind. We are slowly working our way up.

Well, in my opinion, being tied up is boring, but I'm willing to try a lot of things, so I would be open to other S&M type activities.

D/s is a lot of fun, though I am in a similar situation to spicycajun in that my partner took awhile to warm up to it for the same reasons.  Surprise the bf next time by starting with something easy - turn down the lights and take out some "ribbons" and blindfolds and experiment.  Nothing harsh, it will be just a taste for one night to pique his interest and make him beg for it in the back of his mind.
