I was out with the boyf before New Year's in search of hot chocolate and gloves, and I noticed that although all the Christmas paraphernalia was on firesale (of course), all the Valentine's Day stuff was out in full display. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw Halloween costumes out come June . . .
Anyway, when do you guys want to start talking about Valentine's Day? Now? February? February 13? Never? I'm well aware that it's also Singles' Awareness Day and talking about the lovey dovey holiday ad nauseum is going to frustrate a lot of people.

I vote never. Valentine's Day is obnoxious--an obligation to give gifts when you should express your love for everyone year round.
I'm not a cynical single, either. My two-year anniversary with my lovely boyfriend is twelve days before Valentine's Day, which is another reason why the holiday is kind of lame.
I will appreciate the roses, though.

Oh, it would be interesting to see a post about what to get guys for Valentine's Day, as the holiday tends to overemphasize getting girls gifts.

I think although Valentine's Day is a cute idea, I just can't support it. There shouldn't be just one day of the year to tell those you care about that you love them. I try to tell those whom I care about every day that I love and appreciate them. They don't need a box of candy or a bouquet of flowers to know that.
When the time comes, of course.

All Hail Single's Awareness Day! Or as I like to call it, desperately try to find a date month. Um, I'd say start as soon as it takes to be sure that packages can be delivered. So let's say two weeks, aka, Feb 1st. Seems fair.
valentines day is mine and my sweeties anniversary soooo it's kind of big deal to me. but last year i had fun with the day, before we started dating, and i thought i was going to be single. anyways i bought a bunch of valentines and handed them out to everyone and had a lot of fun with it. and i think everyone appreciated it a lot. so trying having some fun with it. it's a day for singles also
When you realize Valentines day is approaching, so like a few days before. Unless you're one of those people who bakes cookie and makes cards for everyone, there's really no need to get so worked up about it. I mean it's just another day just like any other. hahaha
I would say early Feb...Unless its something big you're getting. Then I would plan earlier. xP
Valentine's Day is my absolute favorite holiday. It is NEVER too early. Nor it is ever too late. Everyday should be Valentine's Day!
