This is a guest blog submitted by nobody_911.So this is really just a random thought, because I've been thinking about my "love life" recently.
My boyfriend tells me he loves me; I take it and tell him I love him too. But I've just been thinking, are we just throwing this word around, or do we both actually mean it? I'm fifteen and he's thirteen (if you're going to comment calling me a pedophile or lecture me then don't even bother). Sometimes I think it's possible that we could actually love each other. We've been dating officially for five, almost six months, but we've been "together" for around a year. We've been through quite a lot together, we know almost everything about each other and we're just so close as friends, not just as a couple.
We haven't done too much together sexually, which I think is a good sign; it shows that neither of us is just in it for the physical side of the relationship. All of our friends talk about our being "in love" too - they all think we are. So I was just thinking, do you think kids of our ages could really feel true love?
Can people this young know what love is?

i think time tells. whether you are together or not, down the road, you will know if you loved him.
I hate when adults say, " you are too young to be inlove". Because I believe that love has no age limit. Love is an indescribable conenction. And I think that if you are meant to be inlove your heart and mind will just know it. I am 16 and I love my boyfriend who is 18. He was the one to say it first but I had actually been holding back from saying it because like you i wasn't sure if it really was love.. but when I heard him say it, it became real to me. Like your relationship, the people around me can tell that our feelings for eachother are strong, even my mom says it all the time !
I personally think love has no age limit and noone else can tell you if you are inlove or not.
dont worry...i dont judge people by the age difference in a relationship. i think people can actually and truly love someone when the feel it themselves. i will admit that people say i love you when they dont mean it, but you know, you could be so into a person that they can persuade you to say it when you dont mean it....

you think the age gap between you and this guy is bad? i really like a guy whos my exes brothers whos nearly 14 n im nearly 17 so its three years there!

i really like and care deeply for this lad i haven't seen him weeks cause we're banned from seeing each-other and only allowed speak on facebook but my feelings arn't changeing for him who knows when your both bit older
it is possible it could develop it in to love cause a strong care for someone useally does and that isn't lust or infacuation or a crush! its possible to strongly care about someone without proper loveing them but your'll get there eventually if you wait cause if its meant to be it will happen in the near future. x
