Which Disney Couple Is Your Favorite?

Like many people I know, I grew up on Disney cartoons, but it wasn't until I began rewatching them recently that I started to appreciate the love stories. See, I don't buy for a minute that Disney movies are solely meant for kids and nostalgic purposes. I think they can be appreciated at any age and I will even say I liked them more as an adult.

Anyway, I got to thinking about my favorite Disney couple. I definitely love Belle and the Beast, as well as Pocahantas and John Smith (historical accuracy be damned). Aladdin and Jasmine, Pongo and Perdita as well as their "pets" Roger and Anita - all of these are great. But I think Duchess and Thomas O'Malley from The Aristocats are my all time favorites because not only are they a mismatched couple, but their love story is an emotional roller coaster. When I was watching this movie, I wondered if they would ever survive as a couple.

Kofu and Kiara from Lion King 2 are the best because of what they had gone through together! That movie was based off Romeo and Juliet while Lion King 1 was based off Hamlet.

oo and auora and phillip
ok...so basically all of them...except the nonDisney versions of cinderella and prince charming are way cuter (ever after, anyone? and the rogers & hamerstien's version)

Simba and Nala from The Lion King. They knew each other as kids, grew up and met again only to fall in love. Beautiful coming of age story for the both of them.

Also, Aladdin and Jasmine. A whole new wooooorld... best Disney love song ever. Still gives me shivers.

It's hard to choose, but I'll go with Auora and Phillip, although the glamour of Aladdin and Jasmine is also on my mind.
