Miss Penguin I dated this guy briefly who was... well... noisy. And yes, I'm talking in
that context. But the funny thing was, we only ever got to making out because we didn't date for that long. We'd be kissing and he'd be moaning and breathing all heavily pretty constantly.
I mean, I love kissing but jeez! Calm down!
I can only imagine what he would be like if we went any further than that. To some extent I like a little bit of response so that I know the other person is enjoying themselves, but there is such a thing as too much. It gets distracting if there's too much noise. Of course, as things escalate, more noise becomes acceptable. But there's still a limit (especially volume-wise), at least for me living in my small Brooklyn apartment with thin walls...
Thoughts? I suppose this may be one of those "scandalish" moments where you may want to comment anonymously. I shouldn't assume that all people are as open about this kind of thing as I am, haha.

I myself haven't had too much experience with an overly noisy guy, so in that sense I can't quite relate. I agree with you totally, though. I think there is a limit to noise, and there definitely is such a thing as too much. I think it's one of those things that is just understood in our culture. It's good to get a response, but don't send a girl running! heh.
I'm pretty noisy during coitus. I mean there are moments to have a cold look in your eye and restraint on your mind (not holding yourself back, more like holding someone down) but panting and moaning while kissing?
Yuck. I am a former sex worker. There is nothing more disgusting than a fat wrinkly smelly old man with crotch rot panting and moaning in your ear while their tongue slathers you like a slug on crystal meth.
It's all biofeedback. You see what gets a response. If you are in your zone, you are probably not that good anyway.
wow! im 3rd!!
okay. well im open since im anonymous even while logged in cause i didnt put any private info up.
that loudness bothers me too. one time i was dancing with a dude at a party. i wasnt even dancing hard on him, but he was moaning and breathing on my neck, that was just creepy and a turn off. maybe he was a virgin, lmao
my boyfriend is kinda loud sometimes. it makes me worried that my roomates will hear him. everything is noisy, even his kisses. this is getting a little too personal lol, but he likes to slap my backside when we get intimate, and that's loud also...he said he like me to be loud though. he said it turns him on. he only gets loud from me sometimes like "ah!" lol. but it's short is not like a loud "aaaahhh" or anything like that. but the walls are thin and the doors are close where i stay
haha my friend was banging this one chick freshman year, and said she used to scream. i asked, "don't you care that the walls in the dorms are so thin?" he said "not while we're doing it. plus, it's really hot." i had difficulty imagining it until senior year when the guy who lived across from me started banging this other chick who was really loud. i then decided that my friend was right, haha.
@benjimau5@xanga - lmao at your last paragraph. and im sorry you had to experience that 2nd paragraph
Wow Im not so into the noise because well im not a noisemaker mainly because no man is ever that good. sorry! but if a guy were then maybe but the noise definitely bugs me.
I hated hearing my friend or my parents having sex. IT got so bad my dad would give me a 100 to go shopping so they could do their thing.
EEK! Why do parents have to have sex anyways lol (rhetorical question) haha
I'm a noise maker.
I can't be quiet when I try, honestly, there is almost always some sort of moaning going on when we're foolin around..
However usually, when it gets pretty loud, I usually bite down on a neck or shoulder... I mean, I can't scream if my mouth is full...;)
Hmm... yeah, some enthusiasm is encouraging but I wouldn't want the people on the street to hear...
@bmrowland@xanga - Hahahah I do the same thing! It works.
I'm deaf, and my boyfriend has a tracheostomy, so the only one making any noise is me. I can't hear it to know if I'm being really loud (my hearing aid tends to get lost in the sheets when we're "waxing romantic"), but according to him, it's all good. I think it kind of lets him know when he's getting the job done right, LOL.
That said, I do understand how it could be really unnerving if a guy was really off-the-chain loud. I would think that in addition to it being annoying, it would kind of beg the question, "If he's this worked-up now, then is he going to last more than four seconds if things get more interesting?"
No, I don't have any shame, either, LOL.
No one has ever taken me to that experience but I have been with a guy that would let out some moans, but not me.
My boyfriend finds it hot. Sometimes too hot and it makes him ... faster so he usually shoves a pillow on my face to muffle it if I haven't already got my hand on one.
I'll be totally honest, I usually kinda keep it on my mind to make noise. As in I have to remind myself, mid-coitus, to moan a little. I've had to many years of having to force myself to keep quiet during masturbation throughout my teenage years that now its silence that comes naturally.
I'm loling at the idea of someone moaning while making out. That is the funniest image EVER. It reminds me of one of those cheesy love movies.
I make a little noise, ya know. So he know he's doing good.
Aw, that's not always a problem: http://xkcd.com/316/
;)
yeah, for kissing, getting super heavy-breathing and moaning and stuff...no. Unless you want to get him hot. But otherwise...no. It's weird.
@thinkin_up_dreams@xanga - I used to be like that too, but eventually it will just come naturally. Sometimes I still have to try, but it's not as hard to make noise naturally. Plus when it comes naturally...it makes everything feel so much better...
my roommate and her ex girlfriend used to be soooooooooo loud. it was ridiculous. the ex would shout obscenities in her screaming also. our neighbors would hear, but good thing they were our friends
Just put something in their mouth. Whatever that "something" is is your choice
@bmrowland@xanga - Me too!! lol
I LOLed !
Being noisy just to be noisy is one thing, but if he's noisy because he's really into it, what's the problem? If he's that into it, why silence him?
Do you enjoy making out with the dead? Are you always worried about people hearing you or being caught? I always enjoyed that a little...
You sound boring...
OMG really? I thought guys were ninjas when it came to these sort of things.
@thinkin_up_dreams@xanga - haha same here.
i think it's worse to be silent than loud.
