This question was submitted by a Datingish reader.I've always wondered how much time the average couple spends hanging
out or talking on the phone. I've seen everything from seeing each
other every day, to nothing but a phone call every other week. So I'm
just curious to hear what everyone else's opinion is on how much time
couples should spend with each other.
My boyfriend and I talk
every night on the phone, and see each other about every two weeks,
because he lives in another town. I'm not sure if that's normal or not.
Does it depend on how much you
like each other, how much space you need, etc.?

My SO and I started dating a little more than a month ago and we practically saw each other every day so we rarely talked on the phone for more than 5 minutes to confirm plans or something trivial. We're comfortable enough with each other that we can talk every day without encroaching on personal space.

A webcam is a really good idea. It works great for my boyfriend and I, since we hardly see each other. It's really nice to see his pretty face more than once a month!

sounds just like me and my boyfriend. :]Well with my ex, we were in a long distance relationship so we spent about an hour on the phone a day... plus emailing each other at work all day. HAHA.
With my current bf who lives in the city, we barely spend time on the phone... only cuz we spend almost every night together.
i see my boyfriend everyday, he sleeps over at my house like everynight. and when we are not together i am always text messaging him. we rarely speak on the phone unless there is a message that needs to be relayed quickly. i love seeing him all the time because he is like my best friend, more than just a boyfriend. but when i went to school out of state we saw each other every other weekend and spoke on the phone every night or texted during the day. thank goodness for cell phones!
Every night for at LEAST 3 hours until I'm falling asleep all delusional..
