This is a guest blog submitted by sahar. Today, at lunch, some of the Xanga girls were discussing a hot topic between most women - celebrity gossip.
The
usuals (Lindsay, Britney, Nicole, Paris, and other Hollywood troublemakers) came up. But, as we were discussing the latest scandals, the
topic of prime time dramas came up. 90210 was one of my favorites
growing up and definitely corrupted my childhood with all their
scandalous partying. That being said, I couldn't be more excited for
the new 90210 starting September 2nd!
I think every girl and guy
had a childhood crush on some TV character. For the girls, it could be
bad boy Dylan from 90210 (my personal favorite), all-American Zach
from Saved by the Bell or basketball star Lucas from One Tree Hill. As
for the boys, we have bad girl Valerie from 90210 (who used to be good
girl Kelly on Saved by the Bell!), and of course the One Tree Hill babes
Peyton and Brooke. The list is neverending...
So, who was your TV crush growing up?

I was nerdy enough to love the anime ones. Milliardo Peacecraft from Gundam Wing was a favorite.

I don't really remember having many TV show crushes. I can only think of Jonathon Taylor Thomas. I think I had more movie-star crushes.
I didn't really had a TV crush while growing up, although Tom Welling from Smallville did send little butterflies every time he would smile.
@fiery_redhead - I couldn't think of any until I saw your comment. I was in love with JTT. I think I had posters on my wall of him, but I'm sure that wasn't uncommon for girls back then.
Growing up? I had a huge crush on Michael J. Fox from Growing Pains. Wow, does that date me!
Nowadays, my choices run more like Michael Weston from Burn Notice, and Dean & Sam Winchester from Supernatural. YUM!
Zack Morris. it was definitely Zack Morris.
and then there was the character that Leonardo di Caprio played on Growing Pains. *sigh*

I had a crush on Ben Savage (aka "Cory Matthews") from Boy Meets World, he was SO cute lol. AC Slader was another crush from LONG ago. I had brief crushes on Jason, Tommy and Zach from (the original) Power Rangers. I also had a minor thing for Piccolo from Dragon Ball Z (yes, I realize it was a cartoon and how totally dorky that was haha).
I hated shows like One Tree Hill, OC, and the like :P
Growing up it was Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys. Used to watch all thier videos. Then when I was like 12, it was Billie Joe from Green Day. Now that I think about it, it's kinda silly. They were like 30/40 at the time? I guess we all had our TV crushes.
