I
guess it's an appropriate name for us, because the three of us might
have a slight obsession with moisturizing our lips. We never have lip
gloss; each one of us only owns one lipstick that we rotate and wear
very rarely. We do, though, all have several varieties of lip moisturizers in our makeup bags, purses and cars. A recent conversation on the way to a wedding describes us pretty well:
Hena: Does anyone have lip gloss or something?
Me: I have Chapstick.
Rabica: I have Vaseline!
Hena: I have Aquaphor.
The
three of us broke into laughter because that four line conversation
proved everyone right. Of course, we'd never admit that, so we made a
pit stop to the nearest CVS to get a a random shade of lip gloss that
we all approved of.
I was wondering...do guys like it when girls wear lipstick or lip gloss or do they prefer bare lips that are well moisturized? G irls, do you actually enjoy wearing lipstick or lip gloss?

I hate lipstick. Makes me look funny. I love lip balm!
I'd prefer nothing. I don't like the goopy, waxy, or any other weird texture of those things. I prefer kissing bare lips.

I always wear chapstick. sometimes lipgloss.
But, I had an ex that hated lipgloss and refused to kiss me with it. I heard stuff like that feels awful weird to them.
i hate lipstick and lip gloss (mostly koz my hair sticks to my lips when it's windy) but i'm ALWAYS using chapstick or lip moisturizer/sunblock. they always have faint flavours and guys i kiss always say "mmm... lemon" or "yummm...vanilla" so i'm guessing they don't mind :o) even if they did mind, though, i'd wear them anyway koz i *hate* having dry lips so i always have a stick handy (like you - car, desk, purse, where ever)
I adore lip gloss, lip color, lip balm, etc. I do know that it's the last thing to go on, and the first to come off when I'm out with a guy, bc none of them seem to like the taste or that, ahem, attractive smear.
glossy lips are teh best.
Chapstick is less messy and makes your lips softer. Lipsgloss is sticky and tastes funny. Lipstick is just messy. I only use chapstick ^.^

They make me feel better, like sexy, w/o looking like a skank....
idk why, my ex kissed my once, and he's like "your lips are so damn dry don't you have any chapstick or lipgloss??" I told him I didn't so he told me to go get some from his sister or he wouldn't kiss me again...

n btw, I like gurls when they wear something w/ taste(especailly if she owns more than one) or bare lips, it's fun when I can play w/ the flavors w/ her. ^^
i'm a daily carmex user. i even got my guy into carmex. lol. it may have started when i would kiss him when I saw his lips were dry.
i only use one kind of lip gloss. It's Neutrogena MoistureShine Gloss in "Glimmer". I love it but I only use it once in a while when I feel like I put effort into getting dressed. I may try another shade one day.
i wear anything on my lips however recent years i found out that my lips are allergic to petrolatum.. so after i found that out, i stopped wearing any chapstick or lip balms that have that ingredient in it..
I prefer bare lips. And yes, that's what I have myself, haha.
I dislike lipstick, lipgloss I rarely wear. I just don't like seeing my lips a different shade then its natural color.
The title of the entry made me feel like I HAD to respond. That probably makes no sense to you.
Generally I stick to chapstick. I have lipgloss. Some I like better than others. I also have lipstick. Those are a sometimes thing. Chapstick is always. Actually, I usually start the day with vaseline. I recently ran out of aquaphor or I'd have that, too.

Same here. I wear little makeup anyway now but even when I did I rarely wore lipstick (even when I did it came off halfway through the day.) Just made me seem "extra" made up and unnatural. I used to not even use chapstick until I got on a medicine that dries my skin up so bad that chapstick is an absolute must! But I've developed the habit now so I don't think I'll be stopping even after I finish the medicine. It just seems to make you look slightly more "polished" I think.
i wear lip gloss and i know a few guys who hate it. i can understand they're not used to gooey stuff on their lips.
Hate lipstick. I will probably never wear it in my life.
I'm pretty picky about lip gloss, but bath and body works makes an amazing one that makes your lips tingle and tastes great.
I always carry around chapstick though wherever I go!

Lipstick is always a no. I never wear it. It just looks weird on me. If I use gloss, it's just for the shine factor and I hardly ever wear it when i'm with a guy. My most recent ex never said anything about it. I don't think he was very picky lol. I remember I had my lipgloss on and i kissed him and he got all sparkly and I kind of laughed at him, but he just shrugged it off. lol If i use lipgloss though, I might add that it is never an extravagent color. Usually just a light pink or natural shade...just for that pop of shine. Like i said, i only use it every so often. And once I put it on, i never reapply..i shift to chapstick.
Which brings me to my next point. I loooove me some chapstick. I usually use Burt's Bees though. I don't know why, I just like the minty awesomeness of it. ...i have at least 5 tubes just kind of floating around my room, purse, car, and anywhere else I might be. ha.
I am not a fan of either one.
I wear Chapstick or colored lip balms like Neutrogena's new MoistureShine...WHICH IS FANTASTIC for people who like color without the drying or stickiness of lipsticks and glosses...
I do use lip gloss a lot if I'm not meeting with my guy that day! I love the shimmer of it but I never use lipstick...it's crunchy and just too old school for me.
Well moisturized lips are my preference. I not particularly wild about the waxy feeling of lipstick. Plus, it tastes a bit funky in my opinion.
Bare lips, really. Lip gloss is also okay on occasion, but I'm definitely not a fan of lipstick. Colors and such.
I'm more of a chapstick kind of girl.
Lip gloss is ok, but sometimes it can be too sticky or globby.
Chapstick isn't messy at all and its clear and light in flavors. That and it keeps your lips really nice and soft.
I hate lip stick! It is so hard to find a shade that matches your skin tone. And making my lips a different color is unappealing to me. PLUS lip stick is waxy and sometimes very dry.
So CHAPSTICK ALL THE WAY!
I hate lipstick, but i like lip gloss. If I think about it in the morning, I'll put some on.
But there's always some chapstick in my bag! Rarely do I bring lip gloss with me.
My boyfriend doesn't seem to care what i use, as long as my lips aren't like, super dry or anything.
