Dating, Back to The Future Style

My favorite movie, Back to the Future, was on the other night, and even though I have, like, three copies of it on DVD, I always find myself watching it on TV whenever it airs.Lately when I've watched that movie I've thought about how my parents met and fell in love. Whenever I ask about how they met they always tell me they met at a party of a mutual friend, and the next thing they knew they got married and had me. My dad says it was love at first sight for him, but for my mom it took a bit longer for her to see him more than just a friend. I don't know about you, but to me it seems like there is a lot of details missing from their whole "falling in love" process...
I've always wanted to know more about their wild and carefree days together - I actually found my mom's diary when I was little, and I know I saw the words wine, camping and sex on a page. Unfortunately, her diary has mysteriously disappeared since then.
How did your parents meet ? Have they shared a lot of details about their courtship, or do they tell you they met, married, and then you were born?

my mom and dad went to school together. he was a senior and she was a freshman....he liked her a lot. she kind of liked him. he helped her a lot. he helped her get to the school prom for another guy. they liked each other. he left for college and when he got back they got married...they were high school sweethearts.
My parents first met in highschool. She was the "born and raised in this small town nerd" and dad was the "foreign guy from italy" (he was an airforce brat and had just moved from italy.) But they never seriously dated in highschool. A few years out my mom became curious of what had happened to him and looked him up (he had joined the navy) started visiting him, started dating, engaged, married, and I was a honeymoon baby.
I think my parents were setup...but who the heck know. Sometimes I wonder if they even chose to be with each other. Haha
My dad met my mom at her sister's wedding. My grandma ( dad's mom ) saw my mom and told her son to go after my mom. Well my dad went to the US to study and my mom waited for him. They got married at 20 and 21 respectively. Never underestimate weddings!
