Someone found our site after searching "when a woman answer let just be friends is it final"
Her take: Yes, it's final . . . I've probably been asking my friends what to say and "let's be friends" is the best thing we can come up with. If I'm saying it, it's because I don't want to offend you and I probably do still want to be friends. But really, please stop.
His take: It's never final.
What's your take?

It's definitely final. If a guy keeps trying, we'll just start thinking of him as annoying.
It's most likely final. But don't just give up.
Never be the first to let go of a hug.
Always be the first to walk away.
Those two have helped mostly. Yeah, it's final, move on, life is too short.
It's 95% final. Maybe 98%. There have been whispered, apocryphal, tales of instances where a guy somehow moves back out of the friend category, but those have been few and far between
I think the extra energy and effort required to over come the activation energy of a friend-to-more-than-friend transition is almost always better spent on a new girl.
it's final!! and if guys think its not, he need to get out more~
Since this is asking for a guy's prospective, I'll await the gentlemen's responses. :o)
It depends. Sometimes I'd say it just to let them know in a nice way that I don't like them like that. Other times I'd say it just because I really just want to be friends. So I think both answers to the question are valid.
It's probably final, but you still have a chance if you stay FRIENDS. Show her you care, but don't push being together. Date other girls, whatever, just stay friends and you may have another shot. Most likely, you're destined to just be friends, though.
Let's stay friends is final. However, that doesn't mean friends with benefits isn't entirely inconceivable.
Just kidding.
It's final.
final, but some guys just don't get it
It's final. Move on.
it's final.
Nothing in this universe is final.
It's pretty much final.
Yeah. It's final. He's been given the "friend card" which means, "you're cool to hang out with, but I'm not attracted to you and/or don't want to be stuck with you for forever."
...Am I the only girl that thinks it's not final? Heh, what can I say. With time, things can change. But if the guy pushes it, that's just annoying.
