Music and Romance

A friend of mine is obsessed with the idea of a girl singing to him while she plays the guitar. I guess as fantasies go, this one is kinda tame. Personally though, I was always kinda skeptical until I saw this scene in one of my favorite movies,Before Sunset (underneath my cynicism, I am a cheeseball):
Julie Delpy (the French actress singing here) is really singing here... and she actually wrote this song too! Wow... amazing. She's not the best musician in the world, but imagine being serenaded like this!
Do you have a soft spot for musicians?

Women musicians are a big turn on. Violin, guitar, paino, etc. Accordian...not so much.
I just subscribed today... how is this site updated so often?!? Four...five entries just today?!? Not that I'm complaining.
I do not have a soft spot for musicians, I have a soft spot for people with immense amounts of common sense.
Every guy I've dated has been a musician...Being a musician myself, I think it's really important that the person I'm dating can at least understand and share my passion for music.
I'm not very musical myself so... not really!

instruments are hot. if a guy played piano for me and sang (but he'd have to have a good voice), i would probably approve wholeheartedly

Yes, but because I am also a musician. I have been known to claim in the past that I would marry Josh Groban if he promised to sing to me everyday!

I remember that scene. :).
I love music, but personally, I'm terrible at singing, playing instruments, etc.. I've not been to a piano concert that I have not fallen asleep at.
I'd doubt I have a soft spot for musicians, but I really like dancers. Does that count?
