Friday Fun: How Long Does It Take...
Love at first sight may happen, but most of the time it takes a little more effort to get that special someone . . . what's the longest amount of time you've pursued someone romantically? Was it worth your while?

Four years for me. It was worth my while, but it did not end up like I wanted. It was worth my while because I learned a lot from it even though the end result was not at all what I wanted. Live and learn. It's prepared me for future relationships though and I am much happier for it.
i had someone pursue me for 7 years. not worth his while since he never got anywhere.
Hmm. About a year. But I've known about him since before hand.
Thing is, I didn't think I had a chance with him, so I didn't try. Not really, anyway. Every time he appeared to be flirting with me, I was afraid to flirt back. But I guess I must've, 'cause he got his hopes up, which he further hinted at, so then I got my hopes up, and one day he told me how he felt.
I'm lucky to have gotten to know him before I started to date him. I've always imagined a great long-term relationship to begin that way for me.
Way worth it.
